Magpul X Zev FDP – FOLDING DEFENSIVE PLATFORM

It’s been a minute, but the time has come for the Folding Defensive Platform (FDP). Culminating our years-long collaboration with Zev Technologies (ZEV), the folding, short-barreled 9mm firearm is only available at Zevtechnologies.com. The SBR carbine version, the FDP-C, is shipping today and the pistol version, the FDP-P, will be available in the very near future.

We’ve paired Magpul's durable polymer chassis with ZEV’s custom-designed internals, creating an ambidextrous firearm that stows securely in a 12-inch package that quickly deploys to 20 inches when it’s go-time. Zev’s internal design was built to exacting tolerances, providing a smooth trigger pull, less felt recoil, and match grade barrel performance.

On the outside, the folding Magpul chassis includes a carrying handle with built-in adjustable iron sights and a picatinny rail for accessories and an integrated hand stop for better control. The FDP comes with two PMAG® 21 GL9® – GLOCK® magazines and is compatible other Magpul and OEM GLOCK®-pattern magazines.

""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington.
