I ordered a bottle of PSL (Pumpkin Spice Lube) to make every shot will smell like pumpkin spice, ;D one of Xmas Tree Gun Lube with a mild pine scent, and a jar of Forbidden Peanut Butter, among other things. I already have a jar of EWG: Extreme Weapons Grease, but ordered a limited edition 1.5oz jar with a red cap and a "Forbidden Peanut Butter" label. I put blobs of EWG on my AR recoil spring to dampen the TWANG sound, but a thicker, heavier grease would probably work better for that.

Vice Armory, a LGS had Remington Ammunition NT12S5 Nitro Turkey 12 Gauge 2.75" 1 1/2 oz extra hard lead #5 Shot, 10 round boxes for $5.99 instead of $11.99, and I bought the last 4 boxes. They have different sales every week, and since it's local, I can drive over to get it and not pay any shipping.

I don't turkey hunt, but it should take any game that doesn't need buckshot (or slugs). I have some #4 and #5 shot in the random bulk ammo I bought. There was only one 3" shell out of 250 rounds, so I can use all except that one in my Remington. The 3" shell has to go in my VRF14, but the 19-round mags only take 2 3/4" shells. The other mags are 3". Too bad I can't hunt the flocks of turkeys that walk by by tent when I camp at my friend's cabin. I'd like to see him get more use out of his turkey fryer, but he would hang me up and his wife would skin me if I harmed any of the critters.
