Where's USSA-1 been? SIG556 Workout results?
« on: October 05, 2008, 06:06:58 AM »
I am glad DRTV keeps posts, after "digging" back to the XCR results, the Sig556 was the next one to be "run hard".

After seeing the MB review, I bought mine up and really enjoy making it sing, and am curious to see the follow-up.
Maybe someone can pull USSA-1 off the range for a few and give us an update.
Allright I'll say it,....Pretty Please? ::)

I also just picked up a SIG556 and I'm about to start giving it a workout to see how it handles.

Sorry guys, been doing a lot of travelling and training lately.

I am still "beating ;D" on the Sig 556 and it's doing quite well.  I'm up to 800 rounds with no cleaning or oil and it's been perfect.  I"m hoping to get some more rounds on it in the near future, but other projects and some major 3-gun competitions have slowed down my effort with the Sig.

I will continue the testing and report back.

Great to hear from you USSA-1, and completely understandable with the nice weather getting out and getting training delivered.

I too have a lot of rounds through my Sig, and haven't cleaned mine either. No, it's not cuz I don't know how to knock it down, really. It's not that at all. :o

No, it's, um, well, I want to see when I finally have to open the gas port thingee to blow the gunk out. Yeah, that's it.

Hey, don't feel bad...I won't know how to take one apart if I get one myself.

Thanks for the update. It makes me feel good about my Sig, and I respect the members and moderators who test a product far beyond what the "standards" would dictate.

I don't feel so bad now if I clean mine next week. ;D

Thanks again, I look forward to future updates.
