The only thing worse that what is going on here is if nothing comes of it....but then I guess Chicago has been doing things this way for years.

Every time I scan the political section of this forum I lose my $%&* mind!  I am in a perpetual loop of first being psychotic, then outraged, followed by a short period of disbelief, and finally I settle into a nice depressing funk.  I must be a glutton for this type of punishment, however, because I check this section everyday.   :(  It's hard to believe that the tactics involved in this election, so far, are not only going unpunished but, it seems, being swept under the rug.  This is an election being held by the few to effect the many.  The American citizen whose head is not firmly inplanted in his/her rectum, will have to deal with the ramifications of the underhanded acts of those who would blindly elect an unqualified, undignified, and characterless leader regarless of the means required.  Frankly, and this is sad, some of my fellow "Americans" make me want to puke.   >:(  Please God, help McCain pull out the victory in this election despite the odds.  The rest of you may wish to join me in this prayer, whether you are religious or not.  McCain is not the answer to all of this nations problems, but even if he is not a step in the right direction, atleast he is not a giant leap backward like the alternative.
