By Plan B, I am alluding to lawful and respectful methods to protect individual gun ownership and the 2nd Amendment during an Obama Administration that enjoys a rubber stamp Democratic majority in the Senate and House.  There is nothing furtive or illegal being suggested here.  It is about the coming reality that the gun culture must learn to deal with.

I am voting for McCain/Palin, and I am confident that gunowners in Nevada will deliver Nevada's five electoral votes to McCain.  Yet, the question, as far as the Electoral College is concerned, remains what will happen in Ohio and Florida.  The Democrats have enacted a nasty plan to take these states through what may well amount to voter fraud, but no one seems to care.

I see a certain degree of denial so far in the responses to my question.  Yes, people can complain about the MSM "being in the tank" for Obama, and they can cite the past performance of the Democratic nominee on election day as evidence that McCain still has a prayer.  People may even be fashionably cynical and assert that Clintion's supporters will vote for McCain to help keep their candidate's ambitions alive for 2012.  It all sounds good, but it denies the facts on the ground: The Democrats have finally figured out a game plan to take the crucial swing states.  Yes, elections are unpredictable.  As I said above, I am happy to be wrong.  Yet, are we not to demonstrate some political know-how as well?  How are we going to carry on the good fight in the face of the hostility to private gun ownership that is to come?

If you don't know, that's okay.  A well-prepared person though has a Plan B.  That is all I am saying.  Let us not wait until after the election to think about it.  Also, let us not feel sorry for ourselves should we lose.  Whether we keep our guns is up to us, not Obama or the Democrats.

NH state Constitution, article 10, allows for armed resistance to oppressive govt. I'm pretty sure Kansas has a similar clause, I'm pretty sure that it was left out of the rewritten Constitutions of the former Confederate states, others I don't know about. What I do know is that every Veteran in America swore an oath to "Preserve and protect the Constitution against all threats , foreign and DOMESTIC" That oath had no expiration date. In the mean time we just better make sure plan A works and that socialist Bastard doesn't get in the White House.
