This may sound stupid but, I'm thinking the TV show Jericho could have had a precognition of an Obama Presidency. Of course the attacks on the US in Jericho were domestic but I'm thinking we could be very close to a domestic attack that destroys America as we know it. Someone should send this crap sucker back to the Madrassa he was brainwashed in.

With all his cuts and dreams I say he was going the David vs. Goliath weaponology.  However, this idiot has made fun of us with our Bibles, and even though he claims to be Christian he bailed on that for political reasons (admitted that in a formal speech), so I'm not sure he understands a slingshot.

Remember when Reagan was elected?  How long did it take for the hostages to be released, and how did foreign affairs change?  Something to be said for peace through preparedness!  You ever wonder why all of our "former" enemies poll strongly for BHO?

Basically he'll weaken our military, drop our guard and then all we have to do is wait for the knock out punch from his islamic associates.   :(

And if BHO wins, it WILL happen soon (probably in the first year)........he (we) will be tested.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

I was listening on radio and as I remember when he finished the oath it was announced that the Hostages were airborne for Germany.

While Reagan was a great President and he did get the hostages released the way they went about it was suspect at the least.  It's all a trade off.  Getting those hostages released cost Reagan later on.  We'll STILL dealing with it now.  OBuma wouldn't know what to do in either case.

jnevis,
I was just talking to a friend about this on Wednesday. You are right on the money on this.
Hope OBuma never gets a chance to deal with an issue like that.

This is what you get in the political arena (especially globally).  You wheel and deal, you give and take, you make deals above the table and under the table, and sometimes you make a deal with the devil himself (Sadam).  How many "friends" have we put in power only to need to go back and remove later?

The thought I was trying to bring forward is that you don't go into any situation with your tail between your legs.  You walk in with your head held high with the true confidence that you are capable of getting the job done.  You hope for any one of many plans, but you know that if no one will play that way you can back it up with strength.  You also have the security that plan "B" is always there if needed.  Isn't that the idea behind having laws on the books and a police force to oversee it?

I don't mean to sound so argumentative like I'm picking apart every post you make, but the hostages that got Reagan and Ollie North in trouble were the ones taken in Lebanon, not the ones from the Embassy.,

The Iranian's got I-Hawk weapons systems in return for releasing the hostages and Ollie was caught using CIA money from the sale of the missiles to supply the Contras in South America, hence Iran-Contra

And actually does it REALLY matter, Obama is still an idiot and unfortunately the "average" American voter doen't seem to know any better.
