So Tab...who is this young lady and where are you getting all these photos from? Does she have a college fund?

I agree!  All voting should be done on the same day.  I think the easiest way to solve this is to have the polls open for 24 hours straight.  And by that I mean the SAME 24 hours all across the US.  If they open on the East Coast at 6 am then they open on the West coast at 9 am,  then they close at 6 am the next day in the East and 9 am in the West.

Also NO REPORTING on exit polls, etc. during this time.

+100 on that one.

The MSM idiots on NBC this morning were advocating a month-long voting period.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

I'm for this 100%

I remember one time when you could not announce results until all polls were closed nation wide.  What happened to that, or did that not include exit polling?

All the earily voting crap is not helping things...

Very much against this early voting stuff.   It should be a social time.   I was out at 5:45 with a 100 of my neighbors.  We had a marvelous time making acquaintances and learning about each other.  I love it every 2 years when we do this.

In many states, we've seen the start of the demise of both an election "day" and of a voting "precinct".    Election day has really become the "last day of the election" and with all the computerization and centralization of voting records and the voting process, you can go to any voting place (within the county) and still vote.    There is no logistical reason for a precinct any more.    I can't express it well, but I don't think giving up these two concepts is necessarily a good change.
