Have you all seen this?  A pretty "in your face" gesture from America's most conservative (in the institutional, not the political sense) gunmaker.  I gotta admit, I'm impressed.

Heh, interesting.  I suppose if you're taking that read, you could argue that unlike Mini-14 mags, full-cap AR mags would still have a market in a worst-case scenario, because LE agencies use ARs (but rarely Mini-14s).

They still have lots of LEO sales of the Mini 14... never could figure out why when a AR is better and cheaper.

Well the mini 14 isn't as accurate as the AR I'll admit, but they are very reliable.  Just ordered some of the mags. I don't care if they are just trying to get rid of them.
Michigan has a strange law and considers any long gun that has a folding or collapable stock longer than 26 inches, but shorter than 30 inches a handgun and must be registered as such. I have a Ruger Mini14 factory folder and have it registered as a handgun.  I have a concealed pistol license and asked if I could carry my mini as a concealed pistol.  They kind of chocked on that.  I told them it's either a pistol or it isn't and if it is a pistol then I can carry it loaded and concealed in my car or on my person.
Does anyone know where I can get a quick draw holster for it.
