Listening to the call-in opinions after the elections on C-SPAN, I feel I must be brainwashed. Everything BHO said was very elegant, yet seemed........fake. But everyone agreed it was the right thing he was elected. Are my values wrong? Is there something wrong with the way I see our country? Is it me? I see a long road ahead regaurdless. This man has contradicted himself on most everything I have ever heard him say. I just don't trust this man. He is our president-elect and I will <tight lipped> support my president because it is my duty as a citizen. However we all need to stand tough and "guide" him. Maybe it's just wishfull thinking. I don't know

Unfortunately, being stuck with the judgement of others has, for the most part, always been with us.  Noah was an exception, but even his life was shaped by what was to come.

Actually, if you look at the popular vote... you would notice that its actually very close.

Tab is right... 52%-48% or something like that? After spending more money than any two political campaigns put together that's the best Obama could do? He just got a PILE of electoral votes.

I think ANY person will temper their beliefs when they get inaugurated and the weight of their responsibility finally sinks in. If you have commanded troops or fire brigades or something like that, the presidency is a billion times heavier. Any president begins to moderate based on what needs to be done. What I am afraid of is congress. Reed and Pelosi with a near bullet proof majority is a scary friggin thought.
