I think I'll get one of the new little guns from Auto-Ordnance and do a bunch of DOWN RANGE stuff with it...

Sounds like a great plan man. Just hope it is not another tear-jerker. :D

Having just received a CMP M1 Carbine, I +1 the idea of seeing one on Down Range.  Now if I only could figure out how to put the oiler in the slot I'd be good to go.  Anyone know the procedure?

I missed the 6/13 podcast. Is there anyway to catch podcasts that you missed the week before?? I also just got an M1 Carbine. Mine's a universal.

use the oiler as the sing post in the stock. If you have any questions on how just look at most backpacks or other straps around objects and you will get the idea pretty quick. If futher questions PM me.

Just click on the podcast on the home page.  It will take you to the current podcast but the older ones are listed there and you can choose one of them.

I have a Uni 30 too.  Bought it new back in 74.

Cool! Thanks!

I just got my Carbine a month or 2 ago from a pawn shop a friend of mine works at. Paid $270 for it.

This question is for Michael, what folding stock would you chose for your AK. I have a SLR95 milled reciever and I am looking for a new setup.

I recently saw what I think was the Galil-pattern side-folder from http://www.gunaccessories.com and I really liked it...not sure whether it's available for a milled receiver or not. Unimak ( http://www.unimak.com ) also makes a really sturdy side-folder. You might be able to get a receiver block for one of the SOCOM side-folders from http://www.riflestocks.com, but DARN they are expensive!. If you're a minimalist, look around for the Romanian side-folder, usually around $50 and gen-u-wine Easr Bloc styling!
