I'm in the market for a Benelli M2 myself. Very hard to find one though...

Look at the M1.  I have an M2 and an M1 and they shoot the same.  However, the M1 saves some cash and has been easier to come by in the black models.

I've got a great wife too.  Said yes to another M4 Bushie and an Armalite AR-10....I didn't even have to ask!

About an hour ago my sweet bride asked what hours I work tomorrow.  When I replied that I have the day off said, "I assume you're going to the gun store tomorrow, in that case?"  When I said yes, she said, "Good!  Do NOT come home empty-handed!"

I haven't bought anything gun related in over three months except for a few boxes of hunting shells.  I had been holding out to get a rifle and shotgun for SASS, but I don't think we need to worry about availability there for a while.

My problem now is which way to head.  What is the wisest choice based on what could possibly happen.  I'm not saying I'm throwing in the towel of accepting any bans or elimination.  However, we know the odds are such that we will fight the same battles we did during Billy's years.

I feel like a kid with a shit load of choices available, but only a small part of a shit load to spend, and a limit on how long to take to make the decision before the magic curtain closes  ???  Up until now I could buy something and a week from now, a month from now or a year from now the others would still be there.

Just bought a Romanian AK earlier today so my M&P 15T will have a playmate.   ;D  Getting ready to order 1k of both .223 and 7.62x39 ammo and some hi capacity mags.  I just got rid of a DPMS AP4 .308, so I'm considering buying a "long range" AR in .223.  (Darn .308 ammo was just to expensive for me to justify when I can have just as much fun with less expense shooting .223.)  Anybody have any suggestions for a varmint type AR.  I've looked at Rock River and DPMS, but I don't know which would be better.  Rock River rates theirs at 3/4 MOA, but I can't find any such info on the DPMS.  I'm also open to suggestions regarding other manufactures if someone would care to chime in and help my indecisiveness.

This may be my last chance to get a Carbon-15 pistol so I think I better act fast. It's one of the most politically-incorrect guns there is and has been at the top of my wish list for years. There are a few other guns I want but I'll wait to get them. I'm not even going to try getting a machinegun because I can't afford it.

I'd go with Rock River if available.  From what I've seen they are top notch. It may come down to what you can find.  Looks like prices are going up and availablity going down.  A lot of places are out of mags already.

It's nuts out there!  I stopped by my favorite local gun store after work and the place was packed!  Almost couldn't find a parking place.  The AR rack looked like a gap-toothed hillbilly.  The pistol cases were looking pretty well picked over - even the higher end stuff was moving fast.  When I made my way to the checkout counter (with my rifle case) it looked like half of the store was behind the counter waiting for pick up.  Back ground checks were running 3-4 hours instead of the normal 30 minutes.  I bet it's only going to be worse on Saturday.
