Michael mentions in his blog about what we personally need to be doing in this post election time period:

Well, I dont have an extra $1,000+ to buy my first AR, so will someone please buy one for me!

Michael, Marshal, M'ette..... Im talking to you guys here..... lets do an AR giveaway so that I can have my first "evil black rifle", and so I can become a person who has a personal stake in the battle.

..... and make mine a .243 (DPMS makes em in that caliber). Yeah, 7.62 may be the best all around battle rifle caliber, but if I were going to buy an AR right now, I would probably have to go with a .243

The local pawn shop has an A1 version for $765, brand new. Can't remember the brand. PM me if you want the particulars.

I would like a Barrett, H&K, LMT, Les Baer, Para/ZM Weapons, Rock River, Colt, Stag, or any other brand. I'm not fussy.  :)

AMMO, more ammo, some more ammo, oh and maybe ammo.  8)

If you can think of anything, ammo will work.

AR?

OK.
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

OMG, what a greedy, self-centered lot!  I'm not wishing for me to win, I'm wishing for one of you would win.

Now, all of you wish that back to me so my chances of winning far outweigh yours.  ;D
Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.
