Alright, my birthday isn't until next Monday the 24th. (turning 39) :-\

Anyway, after another lengthy wait from a steady group of gun buyers, My FN9 came out of hiding in the back and was escorted by a sales rep all the way to the door to me.  After taking the quart of oil off of it, she is now picture worthy.

Still just a factory test fired virgin, but soon to be a more "experienced" part of my firearm harem.. ::)  Came with three 16 rd. magazines, hard case, lock etc,...

I'm going to wait until the 19th (Ammo Sales Day) to stock up on 9mm. This is my first 9, and have one other question....

SD ammo. Stick with the regular brands I use in my .40, .45's etc,.. Cor-bon, The new Winchester, Golden Sabre? Thanks again to DRTV and MB for giving me the real "skinny" on what I hope will become one of my favorites,...than again,..they kinda all are. ;)  As always, tips and tricks, tweaks and ammo preference are appreciated.

Thanks again, range report to follow up soon. I can't wait...Well,,, I can but,.. I'm not in Kansas,  North Carolina anymore.

Congrats on the nice gun!  And, happy birthday too!  Nice thing about an early present is that you can enjoy it and know what you want to add to it for that special day  ;)

Happy Birthday! And I think it WILL be a happy one with that gun. My last birthday gun took about 6 months to work out good, but you should be a grinning old man with that thing.

CONGRATS!!  on both the gun and yer B'day.  She looks like a real shooter. 

Far as ammo I say ya need to do some testing on yer own to see what functions best and what you like as far as performance.  Get some old phone books and blast away to test the functioning or however you feel is best because YOU are the one that must feel good about your carry rounds.

NICE!!!!!!!! But does it come with ajustable rear sight?????????????????????  Might look in to getting one , always like a good looking 9mm...... P.S. happy gun & birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!
