Yeager Schnitzle (pounded veal in mushroom gravy) with Spatzle (noodles), YUM!
Schnitzel is actually a pig's butt unless you get Viener schnitzel, then it's veal. They don't make very good ham in Germany so they slice the pig's butt thin, pound it, bread it and fry it. Yum indeed.
I get two free chicken dinners in October for my birthday, one at each of two restaurants, and my mom gets two in November so we eat out 4 times. I went into the place across the street from this one last week thinking I was going to have jaeger schnitzel, my favorite meal of all time, but instead I got the BAVARIAN COMBINATION PLATE; Kasseler Rippchen (Smoked Pork Loin), Schnitzel (Breaded Loin of Pork), and Sauerbraten (Marinated Beef) with Potato Cheese Puffs, Baked Dressing, and Sauerkraut. The meat was, as my ex used to say, as tender as your eye. It was darned tasty too. No vegan meals for me.
They have a wusrt combination plate and some other goodies like that too but are famous for all you can eat family style chicken dinners will all the trimmings. The buttered noodles have crumbled cheez-it crackers or something like that on them. Every dinner comes with home-made bread and jam and chicken noodle soup and a few salads as appetizers. 3 hours until I go stuff myself again. I can hardy wait.
