first time pulled over in 2 years
« on: November 19, 2008, 01:33:16 PM »
so i was driving down the freeway the other day coming back from a woodcutting expedition, when i got pulled over by a state police officer.  Now that doesnt sound to interesting but the fact that it was the first time i was pulled over while i was carrying my handgun made it slightly different and intersting.  suprisingly the officer didnt seem to concerned over the fact that i was carrying.  i did of course hand him my cc permit along with my license and informed him that i was carrying. btw i didnt get a ticket either.

I don't get pulled over. They just show up at the scene of the accident.  :(

Where we live the troopers set up road blocks and check all the crack heads and such on a back road I take to get home. When I open my wallet you can see my DL and my CP, he asked me if I had my gun on me , I said yes he said " I encourage everyone that can to carry a handgun"  Pretty cool guy.

I've never seen a roadblock. I think they're illegal in some states.

If you hit a car and it flips through the air and lands on a lawn next to the road they'll show up. At least they do here. Oops. My bad.  :-[  Then they ask if you have any weapons and confiscate an expensive knife that's perfectly legal but the jackbooted facists are too stupid to know or care about the law. Gee, I guess I'm still bitter about that.  ;)  But it was more than two days wages gone forever because of their ignorance. That's typical of my enconters with cops. LEOs that know Jack Schmidt about the laws they enforce. I don't know how they pick these losers. At least they weren't swearing and yelling obscenities at me that time. And neither one had huge chunks of food hanging on their faces and chewed with their mouths open while they talked. Not that time. There's always a bright side to any situation.
