NC Gun Show
« on: November 22, 2008, 01:06:33 PM »
Went by the gun show in Raleigh about 1:30 Saturday afternoon.  Two lines very long lines to get in, one person who had just paid said he was in line for an hour.  Decided I didn't need to go in that badly, will try again tomorrow.

It is billed as the largest in the state. It is held at the NC State Fairgrounds. I have been many times, didn't go this time, no money for the good stuff  :'(.  A co-worker who went on Saturday morning called my cell and told me he also had to wait for an hour to get in. I would guess that on average I have seen 3-5 thousand in the building in the past and not had to wait that long to get in.

Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." [Samuel Adams]

Back again today.  Show opened at 10:00, I arrived at 10:15 with about 400 people in line ahead of me.  Fast moving today with 4 money takers, took about 25 minutes.  Big building so the crowd wasn't tooo bad.  Left empty handed.
