I don't know about pigs. The .500 might be a more practical gun if Jurassic Park was real.  ;)

Warning ... Gun Porn Ahead !!!
Don't know about anything on the planet or solar system, but it is fast and flat at least 150 yards (haven't tried 200, but is supposed to be).  Only problem is that pop cans don't make good targets  :-[  I go with 20lb lp tanks, and it sends them rolling at 100 yards and closer  ;D

If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

I believe the Pfeifer Zeliska is 3 times as powerful as the .500. That's way too much gun for me. http://www.pfeifer-waffen.at/cms/html/index.php?module=htmlpages&func=display&pid=32 I think that's big enough any game anmal on ANY planet.

From their description:
There won’t be any permanent damage inflicted to your wrist.

That is assuming you can bench press 500 lbs.

holding a 13+ lb hand gun stead is a feat in itself.
I always break all the clay pigeons,  some times its even with lead.
