Outdoor Life Poll

Some of you may have recieved this information from DPMS, but here it is for those that did not:

Randy Luth is on the list of 25, and voting is taking place.  It is an impressive list of people, and all are deserving.  Take some time and vote for your favorite.

As of this morning Mr. Luth was leading with 41.882% and Jon Annoni was in second place with 35.61%.  The rest were way behind.

Anti: I think some of you gentleman would choose to apply a gun shaped remedy to any problem or potential problem that presented itself? Your reverance (sic) for firearms is maintained with an almost religious zeal. The mind boggles! it really does...

Me: Naw, we just apply a gun-shaped remedy to those extreme life threatening situations that call for it. All the less urgent problems we're willing to discuss.

I would have never taken the time to read through all those bios.  So thanks for the heads up, MB.  Now I know a little bit about DPMS.

Just went over and checked the poll:

Randy Luth 51.84% - John Annoni 37.76%

John has moved up 2.15% (35.61 to 37.76), but Randy has moved up 10.02% (41.82 to 51.84)

Hope it keeps heading that way.  It is a good sign when a publication like Outdoor Life (broad outdoor activities) has a readership that supports a firearms manufacturer and spokesman this strongly.

I like Randy Luth a lot, and he's done some good things...BUT, I voted forDave Brower, the guy from Michigan who has volunteered to band ducks and build nesting boxes for the past 15 years.

Done. Now more than ever we need to support someone like Randy just as much as SOME of us gun owners vilified Can Cooper. Let's be as vocally positive to one of our own as we possibly can.
