Browsing through my October Am Rifleman...
« on: November 25, 2008, 09:15:45 AM »
The article on the Panther Sportical was interesting. Note the comment below the picture about the sight.

So I did a search on the sight. Cheapest I found was $699!  Almost the cost of the Aimpoint at Midway with the NRA donation.

The Leupold has variable magnification, pretty easy to estimate range (6 ft target fits snug in the circle @ 100 yds, between dot and circle at 200 yds). Question I have is is this scope parallax free? Opinions on which you would choose if you had the funds?

Has anyone been able to find this gun?

I've been looking for it since I received the magazine, but no one around here has them  ???

Local shop had 3 - two in 5.56, one in 7.62. Sold the last one two days after the election. Your not likely to see another for a long, long, time. Back ordered w/ no ship date in sight.

The Elcan is Guaranteed In Stock. At $11,400.00 I guarantee it will stay that way.

Aimpoints have no parallax at any distance. At least the non-magnified ones.

How about the CQ T? Parallax free there too?
