Washington State
« on: November 26, 2008, 10:20:40 AM »
I can read and read and read all day long about WA State but anyone live there?
I'm more concerned about acquiring concealed handgun permit acquisition.

I have a decent chance to move from Boise ID to Pullman WA.

I see that WA has a 5 day waiting period.... - why have the residents not worked to repeal that yet?

Overall how gun friendly is the state?

NEVER MIND -
I just had a dumb attack when I posted, Moscow Idaho is 9 miles away from Pullman WA.
I can stay in my own private Idaho and still make more $ in WA.

Doh!

Anyway, WA is a shall issue state, where everyone that passes a background check gets a concealed carry permit. The 3 day waiting period for handgun purchases is waived if you have a permit.

What's funny is I am in Boise, right now, visiting family for the holidays. I just bought a Remington 700 CDL SF limited edition, while over here, from Impact guns.

Getting a WA permit is no problem.  We got ours in Snohomish county.  We went in on a Monday afternoon, and when we got home on Friday it was already waiting for us.
