UPDATE.....

we're loading fuel in S. Korea and heading for the Persian Gulf. picking up a security team in Diego Garcia and then on to UAE. well, it's gonna get warm. anyway, I'll be out of touch for about a month, maybe two. depends on whether I can get ashore when we get there. talk to you guys later.

DUBAI, just arrived this morning. spent a night in Fujaira (UAE) should be leaving in the morning. fortunately we have a security team on board. 12 squids and three boats while we're here in the gulf. nice guns. for those of you that are interested in what's going on with piracy, check out 'Pomparo' it's a short documentary by a couple of captains about the malacca straits. anyway, I'll get back online when we get to Diego Garcia.
oh yeah, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

MAs a couple of arms instructors (good for me if they come with us to Diego, I get to shoot the big .50 cal machine guns ;D ) and some recruits (kids). good bunch though.
