Glock 34

what is your opinion of the Glock 34?

I saw where the IDPA shooters prefer this gun about 3-1 over te others
I want to start competing in idpa and ipsc at the beginner level

I have heard the same about the 34- it is a good gun. If your purpose is to use it for competition, then I believe it is well suited for that role based upon my understanding. If you can, rent a 34 and see how it works for YOU. I think you'll get your best assessment then.

I can also recommend the Glock 30, which is 45 ACP, and is my carry gun; the Para Tac 4 is the alternate. The G 30 saved my life a couple of years ago, so I swear by it!
