THE GUN FACTS

Back in the springtime I tried putting some thoughts together in response to common questions/attacks on gun ownership. I am always amazed at how smart I am. I just usually wind up realizing that someone much smarter than me already did what I doood. Oh well I guess I will never be famous....

Anyway on Tom Greshams radio show this afternoon a gentleman (Guy Smith) was on that has been doing the same as I for several years already. It is a compilation of responses that is fabulous. Well worth the downloading and reading etc. He gets a +10 for the effort and quality ! (there seem to be several versions on the web. This is the latest I could find ver 5.0).

I am going to be passing that around the place here as well

one thing that  I would like to personally add

some of the info used was from a report that Dr's Jeanine Baker and Samara McPhedran have done here in Australia  ( I know them both)
and they have a new report out soon   

I was going to post them up here soon to help people with some more facts and figures that they can use for letter writing and info about what has happened here

I have found that it helps to include info like that

I've been scanning through Gun facts and found some interesting quotes. We expect pro gun comments from Thomas Jefferson or Ronald Reagan , but how about these

As an aside, Guy Smith reminded folks that as a PDF file you can store and display it on a lot of other smart devices these days. PDA's, cell phones (like MB's iPhone) all allow display of PDFs. So it can be a "don't leave home without it" thing too.
