They did a piece on the local news here (Illinois) yesterday, and the state police said that most of the increase in sales were first time buyers. Glad they checked the facts. Oh, thats right, the facts don't matter.

Take him at his word?

Which would that be? Should we believe what he has said through his well documented past votes on legislation while being a sworn member of the Illinois and United States Senate, or should we believe what he said over the past 2 years in order to further his career and own personal ambitions?

He won't do it anyway, except to sign the legislation that is passed because the people want it.  It is the legislators that will hand it to him.  Those are the ones to put the pressure on.  NO COMPROMISES!!!
