There is a video clip on msn titled "America's Gun Culture."  When you watch it you find that it is by National Geographic.  Not entirely friendly.  Hadn't caught, or remembered, that National Geographic was anti-gun, but it is showing

Just finished watching it. Spent a whole three minutes on self defense, didn't even say anythng about guns stopping a crime. The comment I liked most was about the "semi-auto machine guns". How stupid these people are.

Very accurate. A lot of gang bangers though and Cops who think it is "unfortunate" that we have the right to own a gun.

I have to hand it to the woman that they did feature who was wanting to buy a gun to protect her family from a future home invasion -- she was very well spoken on the issue.

It's not about stupidity, it is about brainwashing the uneducated to believe. Do it well enough and you can kill hundreds (Jim Jones) to millions (make a list), without ever having to get your own hands dirty.

During  the  glory  days  of  the Reagan years  the  GREAT Jeff Cooper  wrote  that  the  last bastion  of  liberalism  were  the CLAM's(Congressional Left-Academia-Media). He  was  correct (as  usual) but  he & we  forgot  ONE VERY IMPORTANT thing.All  the  generations  following were & are heavily  influenced by  both  of  the  last two. BHO's election  should be  an eye-opener & unless we(the 2A supporters) can  make  inroads into  the  school system & the  media we WILL LOSE.Teach  our children,get  involved in the local school system & stay on all the  media outlets.We either  fight or we  lose.

I am making inroads in the local school system, I send my child to a private school, one less student to poison, less money going to the public school a few blocks away.
I don't have to counter an anti-gun indoctrination at school. Together we mock that un-education system.
