Well, I guess great minds do think alike... or sick minds.  Anyway, my brother actually expressed interest in a revolver, so that was the way I was leaning also.  I had been thinking about purchasing a 686 for myself, so I may have him take a look at it.  It's a win win situation.  He gets a new gun and big bro gets to shoot it.   8)

 8)  To me .38 target loads feel almost like a .22, which is practically no recoil. Once you're proficient with it the next step is to get some manly man ammo.  ;)
