Ruger recall er, UPGRADE box arrived today.

Might want to put a note in there and politely ask if they will "upgrade" it to a Kahr .380

That left a mark!

Except recently, my dealer has had a rash of Kahr compacts (purchased over the last year) being brought back in for FTF issues and going back to the factory...

Do I smell a Kahr upgrade in the works?

I have never had any FTF problems with mine, and if i remember right there was a reason that they made two generations of of the P3AT

Guess I couldn't tell you exactly what all they did to it.  I know on mine they milled out the back corner of the frame where the spent brass was hitting, put in a easier to use slide stop, and it almost looks like they may have put in a different firing pin.  Other than that I never broke mine down all the way so i'm not sure what they did to the "hammer mechanism."

Should have asked when I called the hotline to get the LCP picked up. I can always call again.

The nice lady that indulged my stupidity said just the hammer for mine as far as she knows.  Lower serial numbers also get the machining to stop the case damage on extraction. She did not know if anything else was being done.
