Wait a minute! The USA is not a democracy. We are a Republic! (a Democratic-Republic if you want to get picky.) Our forefathers knew quite well the shortcomings of Democracies and built in the three parts of our government for this not to happen through check and balance.  Somehow, the liberals have convinced many other Americans that we are what we are not, and have usurped the separation of the way our government should work.

It's about time for private industry to take over space travel and set up a new Democratic-Republic government on Mars and beyond!
Then we could nuke the Earth if they piss us off!

....And to the Republic, for which it stands,...........
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

"Democracy" is an unworkable system similar to Anarchy but with better benefits. Since the fall of the Athenian democracy no thinking person has taken that system seriously, it is no more than mob rule subject to the whim of the moment, to quote earlier thinkers, "when the mob finds they can vote themselves bread and circuses, that is what they will do". That is why we currently have so many democrat sponsored "entitlement " programs giving OUR tax dollars to those who contribute nothing to society. It is the way the democrats buy votes.
A "Constitutional Republic" such as this was intended to be, is a system of laws that specifies the rights of individual, the powers allowed to Govt. and responsibilities  of each group.

End of Democracy...   time will tell. If you look at history of how and why this country was created. And how and why it is the way it is today.. .   yeah, we are getting away from what it was suppost to be..    :-\   Am I given up.. No. ..  I'm not.. and someday it will come down to that.. those that give up and those that don't.  Time will tell..
