Helmke and the Jonesboro school shooters

In his latest, Paul Helmke rants about one of the Jonesboro school shooters trying to get a CCW permit, and uses the case to say that we need tighter hoops to jump through for gun buyers, as this case is proof that criminals do try to go through legal channels to get guns.

The problem is that old Paul mentions the other Jonesboro school shooter in his column, but doesn't do very good research on him.
