I believe she would have to be appointed by the govenor, but it doesn't matter. Those in NY will vote for her because she is a Kennedy. If they voted for Hillary, they will vote for her too.

Well the tale got a little twisted.   In the original, Gwenivere was messing around with one (or more) of the knights.  In the US version Gwenivere stayed home and tended house while King Arthur was messing around with several of the handmaidens.
