I didn't know it would come in pieces. ???
I think they meant it to come in pieces, but I think there was a logistical problem.  Anyway, I have all the necessary pieces to shoot it, so I will try to on Monday after work, assuming the roads are not washed away.  The only thing I am missing is the laser grip, but it should arrive soon.  I will be sure to write back either with a range report or with a tow truck order, to get the car out of the river, late Monday evening.

Here's to hoping for the former.  ;)

A flooded car and tow truck bill are a small inconvenience to keep us happy. ;D

Phew, no flooded car or tow truck bill.

This thing is fun,  It shoots great, the trigger doesn't seem to be mushy, but what do I know.  I only had one FTF, but with 22 ammo that's really good.  Accuracy is good, 50 yd zero, shooter's accuracy needs work though.  This thing will be a great training tool.  The scope works really well and is easy to adjust.  This thing works so well I'm at a loss of what to say.  Anyway here's some porn.

Any questions please ask.

Thanks demonpi. I'm glad you've enjoyed OUR gun. ;D Seriously, I would like to hear a little about your travails in putting it toghther and bore sighting etc. I know a lot of us are considering an AR kit pacakage, with a barrel from here, a lower receiver from there etc. If you're not an expert, so much the better. Neither are we. Some real world advice is always good. Once again I wish you th joy of he gun.

I don't know any thing about bore sighting, all I did was aim for X, shoot, aim for X, adjust crosshairs to impact location, and voila...zeroed.  Thankfully I had the 12 power scope so its easy to see where I hit.  Otherwise I'd have been zeroing for a while.

And right there you answered one of my big questions about the rail system. If it was good enough you could slide on a scope and get on paper without boresighting it, I'm relieved.
Thanks

I got the trick from Tom Gresham, but yeah, the first shot was on paper, and only about 2 MOA off, vertical and windage.  Now the windage may have been off more because I had about a 15 MPH crosswind.  A flag would have been stretched straight out.
