TC Contender 14" 223.  I was 18 in 1984 when I picked it up for $180.  Still own it and still love it.  Has 10" 30-30, 10" 22lr, 14" 22lr, 6 3/4" oct 22lr, and 6 3/4" oct 44 mag, to keep it company now.  It's just to fun!

First handgun I owned was a Smith & Wesson Model 60-4...such a cute little thing.

First handgun I purchased, a Colt Officer's Model S/S .45ACP.

Ive had handguns all my life..the first one I ever bought over the counter with paperwork and all was a 640 centennial 38 way back in 1992

It was bought a week after I got my first CCW. I paid 295 bucks for it, as I remember.

I carried it for 4 years, and got walther PPK fever when Goldeneye came out and traded it for one. It was another in the long list of great pistols I traded off in error.

That walther was a POS.

My first handgun was purchased by my wife for my birthday in 1972, a Llama model III-A in .380. I still have it and it still shoots to POA. I followed that with a Ruger New Model Single-Six in .22/.22mag 6" barrel.

:)A Smith and Wesson Safety Hammerless 5th Model in 38 S&W followed by a Cold Woodsman Sport 4" .22 LR both in 1960. Those were both for fun. The next one was the serious one when I was commissioned in 1963 a S&W Combat Magnum later know as the Model 19 in .357 Mag. This was the pistol I carried every day in Vietnam. But never shot it there. My combat rifle was an M2 Carbine. Great little gun for an officer. I shot the M2 a lot. The AR 15 of the day was a POS.

My first was an H&R,  double action revolver that looked like a single action, 22lr/22mag, with 2 cylinders followed by a Colt combat commander in .45 acp. After that was a Thompson Center Contender in 30-30 winchester. At that time I thought the TC was the most beautiful firearm I had ever seen. I still have two. Unfortunately, I can not show you what that lead to. yessir, yessir 2 safes full.

The first two were a S&W 9mm (don't remember the model) and a Cimeron Colt-clone.
