1st: Light without magazine. Lighter when loaded with the 10rd choked magazines. Still not bad with 15rds. I also own a Para P9-18: all steel and 18 rounds. Plus, the BDM has an amazingly slim grip, even with it using doublestack magazines.
2nd: But we shoot the same classifiers as the open guys, and are graded against the best shooters with guns that are more than combat accurate
3rd: CM 03-10 Area Five Standards has 6 shots at 150 feet.
CM 99-09 Long Range Standards has 18 shots at 120 feet.
4th: From what I remember, it helped the heavy first (double action) shot, but left the single-action shots alone.
It's ok to have problems, it's how we learn.
