The main reason they USED to be a security risk was because they could be threatened with exposure. There is no reason they can not be deployed any where. Sodomy is still illegal under the UCMJ, so if they are not violating that they are not violating any restrictions of a potential host country. The UCMJ law against sodomy was the reason clinton's idea was watered down to "don't ask-don't tell".
I base my opinions of a person on how they do their job, not how they keep their sheets warm which is none of my business. What I object to is flaunting their perversion, as if they are in some way "better" than normal people. Gun owners, however, could, and SHOULD learn a lot from the "gay rights" movement.
