I hear that, Tom. Having previously lost 33% of my after-tax income to a divorce - with NO accounting for the money, I understand fully what you're going through. Took me years to dig out of the debt. Now, I am looking to sell a couple of safe queens, like the M1 carbine and Ruger Mini-14 to cover pending job loss (a$$hole boss in a bank to boot).

Here's to you, me and everyone, hang in there.

Thanks Path, 8 years down and 4 to go. Ca, where the ex filed can take up to 1/2 after taxes. Fortunately NH does not honor that ,so only 1/3. It's a little thing but it's sticking it to Ca in return for charging me $1100 per month on a $10/hour income, OUT THERE. Hope it DOES fall in the ocean.  ;D

Financial Constraints are certainly a real part of why Training Time is so valuable!   Resources are always limited.

The event went very well and they'll be doing another one in 2010.

I'll be back in NH in May,  I'm sure that we can arrange a DRTV discount, if a couple people are interested in attending the event.

I can identify, Tom.  After my first heart attack 5 years ago my previous employer figured out they could get somebody half my age to do my job for half the money.  So I made a career change, taking a $25,000 plus pay cut in the process.

Then about 2 years ago Mrs. T's employer decided to get rid of 34 people who were over 40 and had had some claims against their health insurance.  So, after 18 years she was out of a job.  Now, instead of making $30,000 a year she's a part-time McFry cook.  And with the economy the way it is these days, we're damn glad she has that!!

Which is why I work 2 jobs for a total of 60+ hours a week, even though my doctor wants me to retire.  Hell we can hardly pay the bills as it is, what are we supposed to do if I have to quit working?

Ok, I'm done whining now.
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!
