Fun stuff!

What caliber is the Tx Defender (45LC - backup for the Thompson  :D)?  A couple of weeks ago Munden shot a clay with one!

The Thompson sounds real cool.  I have never shot one but the ones I have held seemed heavy for the size (I like that).

was 45 LC/410 But I couldnt leave that alone and got the 45ACP BARREL of the three/45LC/410 &
45ACP Ididn`t expect the 45ACP to have the most recoil but it does.

That is odd.  I wonder if it is because the acp has the most barrel in front of it so it builds more pressue.

I would bet that if you tried some Corbon 45LC vs. 45acp the scales would be put correct man. A lot of 45LC is loaded down under ACP velocites for them Cowboy shooters. Give it a try man.

Heavy is right on the Thompson. Makes me think about carrying one during the WAR . Must have
been worth the weight to have the firepower to want to tote it around. Iam sure your are right
HAZCAT.I did buy coboy loads . To tell the truth I was thinking about the recoil when I bought
them.Got some REMINGTON EXPRESS but havent tried them yet .I `LL let you know. The Bond
is not exactly fun to shoot but it is a hoot. The Thompson is. Go`s real good with my REMINGTON
RAND [1944]

Hadn't thought about the cowboy loads Tex.  I shoot reloads that clock around 1100 fps out of my Redhawk.

Bug.

How accurate is the Thompson?  Also with the Remmy it looks like you really LIKE 45 caliber  ;D.  Me too.  I shoot the 45LC out of my Puma lever (18 inch ported), same loads as the Redhawk but they come out at about 1500 fps (250 grn RNFP lead).

I figure I can pretty much stop any one or any thing I have to.  ;)
