Stimulus to fund new ATF gun grabbing program

"Stimulus" to fund new ATF gun-grabbing program

This'll really stimulate the economy -- funding the prospective National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, which in turn would allow the ATF to sequester you, force you to submit to psychological evaluations, and take your guns.

Can't you just feel that New Deal in the air?

Read all about it in Luke's new blog post.

They missed this part;

For an additional amount for ‘‘State and Local Law
Enforcement Assistance’’, $90,000,000, to remain avail
able until September 30, 2010, for competitive grants to
provide assistance and equipment to local law enforcement
along the Southern border and in High-Intensity Drug
Trafficking Areas to combat criminal narcotics activity
stemming from the Southern border, of which
$10,000,000 shall be transferred to ‘‘Bureau of Alcohol,
Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Salaries and Expenses’’
for the ATF Project Gunrunner.

I have had this book for years...maybe we should all get a copy of this little red book.

This is a book about how to take over a country, by a guy who actually tried. Although the French sounding name should be an indication that he was not successful. ;)

great book though.

So, my angle is this:

Does the BATF work as minions for the party in power or have they always sucked? Yes I have heard the news report of gun dealers getting raided for paperwork not filed, and other issues.etc,...

Is the BATF truly against the 2nd Amend.? Do they drum to their own tune?

I have other questions, but I haven't heard other points of view regarding history of the "F" in ATF...

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

Probably not so much as they are 'against guns', it's just that they must do what ever it takes to keep the budget money flowing in the right direction. If that means following bogus orders given by the master puppeteers, then so be it.

It should be large, deep and you should have a supply of lime.

If I get your drift, I think the digging should start right outside the DC beltway.    ;)

Why are firearms, which are Constitutionally protected, grouped with alcohol and tobacco, which aren't. I guess they've got an "E" for explosives on there too. Is it just a public relations ploy to associate guns with things that are thought of as being bad, or harmful?

Anyone notice that TAB's screen name backwards is Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco? Is that his statement about how firearms shouldn't be controlled by the either?
