I agree, yet disagree.  Each situation is different.  If you’re gonna be in a shootout, then its laser off.  However, if you have some distance to work with and a potential attacker who may be armed with a knife coming down a hallway then it could perhaps be a BIG intimidating factor in which he turns and runs.  Laser on, muzzle pointed doesn’t always = shoot.  I do understand your point of view though as well and agree, when on, it does lead ya all the way back to the source.

Aren't you saying you only be using the laser when you don't think you need it , and leaving it off when you actually DO need to score hits ?

No!

Sorry, I don't mean to talk outta both sides of my mouth...there's always time for a laser to make an accurate shot for sure.  There's such a fine line and each situation seems to render a different perspective / outcome!

In a home hallway with 6' to 16' of spacing you just wanna plug'em down range best you can.  I'm not lOOkin' to score an "X" here, just make it known I'm here and willing to protect my crap!  If I got a couple, we'll call'em "dudes" wantin' my Play Station, X-Box, TV or whatever perhaps that sharp green "Jedi" laser could differ them to an exit without a shot even being fired!

Again, each case / situation is gonna be different and that's where we get into practice, speed & precision - deviation, knowing what you're doin' & why, etc.  There's a good and bad answer for every scenerio, as we've seen.  Just being prepared and thinking through different scenes is a step in the right direction!  Shooting is not always an answer!

Green, Red, Yellow…you say tomato, I say tomato!

Smok'em if ya got'em!!

 ;D

Perhaps a new paisley laser could be made, for those into couture and culture!  Hehehe!!

I'm rather partial to the checkerboard one that Acme is introducing.  ;D
