ar 15 which 1?

my buddy is in the market for an ar 15 hes considering all of them what does everyone recomend ?& why ?

Well, unfortunately your question is quite vague.  What does he plan on doing with it?  How experienced is he as a shooter?  I'm sure there are dozens of more specific questions that could be asked to really narrow down his choice.  For a first gun, a good rule of thumb is to start with something relatively basic but that has room for future upgrades (such as an A3 upper for adding optics after the shooter has become comfortable using the iron sights).  But again, the specific mission of the gun will really dictate what how your friend should spend his money.

And as for which brand is best, let the posts begin......... (I like my Bushmaster  ;D)

No preference but I've never heard anything bad about Rock River Arms except that they are in the higher end of the price range, same with Stag Arms.

hppfully he dosent get to read this but experience wise none or little target & hunting hes looking at the .223 .& hes talking about  putting an evotech or something like that red dot sope .as far as quality & durability which ones are the better ones .

also one more question isnt the.223 & the 5.56 the same round ? you could use either one right ?

223 works in 5.56 chambers but not the other way around. Minor differences between 5.56 NATO case dimensions and .223 SAAMI case dimensions cause excessive pressure if 5.56 is used in .223 Chambers.
there are exceptions but the rule of thumb if if it says .223 use .223, but if it's marked for 5.56mm then use either.
