Tactical Pants? Light Tan w/Cargo Pockets? GREAT show guys!
« on: March 08, 2009, 08:17:14 AM »
Messr.'s Bane, Janich, Pincus;

CONGRATULATIONS on another GREAT show!  I've found Best Defense to be VERY interesting, and helpful in formulating my own personal defense strategy.

I've noted on several shows where folks were wearing what could be described a light tan, cargo pocketed, "tactical pants".  Could someone share with me where such pants might be purchased?

BTW, I'd LOVE to see a program which gives insight into the various courses available from SIG and others, related to concealed carry, engagement methods, and disarming techniques similar to those show on a recent program by the SIG instructor.  Seeing what these courses include, their duration, related videos, costs, and school location would be a great help in selecting potential ways to improve skills.

Thanks again!  Michael

Most of the clothing you see on The Best Defense is BLACKHAWK Warrior Wear. BLACKHAWK is the official apparel sponsor for the show and was kind enough to kit everyone out in pants, shirts, boots, jackets, and shells.

The tan pants that Rob wears in many of the episodes are actually BLACKHAWK's I.T.S. pants--integrated tourniquet system. They actually feature tourniquets pre-positioned both above and below the knees on both legs. Designed by a trauma surgeon with extensive experience in Afghanistan, they are a lifesaving tool that is rapidly gaining popularity among our troops and other armed professionals.

Stay safe,

Mike
