They are right down the road from me here in Ft. Lauderdale, I don't own one (YET), but my pennies and dollar bills are almost there. ;D

It appears they are moving their operations up to the Charlotte area.  I think June 1 is scheduled for full production.  They already make the GI Expert up there..

Nothing wrong with that, cost of doing business is slightly less expensive than here in S. Florida.  Good area as well, and a great firearm. They are proud of them cost wise, but it sure seems worth getting one.

Up here in the Peoples Republic, I'm limited on what I can buy new and Para is well represented.  S&W is far more expensive than Para IMO and has limited selection in 1911's.  I can't buy a new Colt, Springfield, Kimber, Wilson, RIA, Ed Brown, Dan Wesson, Taurus, SigSauer, Daly or any number of other 1911 style pistols.  After much research, I decided on the Para and I'm not dissapointed.

To quote another Tom..... booger hook, bang switch, KaBoom.!!!...every time...

How come the law in Mass will not allow you to buy pistols from those other companies?

I bought my Para a couple yrs ago and love it.

S&W has just recalled my Walther PPK/S so if you have one you may want to check out the recall.
