That's a 2nd gen extractor, same as on my P3AT.  That was the big problem with the 1st gens from what I have heard.  They have been out for a couple of years I believe.
All tipoes and misspelings are copi-righted.  Pleeze do not reuse without ritten persimmons  :D

I have a 1st Gen P32. No matter which or my 4 Mags I use it fails to extract the 3 rd.  >:( >:( >:(  I had a local Gunsmith look at it; said it wasn't worth what it would cost to fix it.   ::) ::) ::)

Contact Kel-tec, perhaps they will replace it with the new one.

I'm with Don here. During the 15 minutes that I owned a kel-tec, I was amazed at their CS. Just send them the gun. They seem to be developing a bit of a glock like cult (although they blasphemers who have not discovered the one true path) and are very good at making people happy.

I have the P3AT in .380, and have the 2st Gen. Extractor, regardless of type and "Gen." if you are having an issue contact Kel-Tec and let them fix it. (If it's not something they can send you and fix yourself).

Their CS is great. You WILL get any issue resolved.

They never had a recall either, and if you have a "gremlin" they don't tolerate it.

That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

I am very pleased with mine after one trip back to the factory for a broken trigger spring! We have tried to make it fail and now don't have that kind of ammo to waste. After talking to the people at customer service I believe they want to have a reputation for selling a quality product. Some day I may buy one in 380 or just get the single stack 9mm when money allows.

Sorry, I did not notice cause I would not buy one.  8) Sorry eric, have some bud's who bought them and they were filled with immediate regret. Bought the wife a Ruger LCP, that weapon is really sharp on recoil so I would hate to experience anything cheaper on the range.

Not crap, just crude, like an SKS. It performs as advertised. The reason I don't own one is that it has a heavy trigger pull (ok). AND a long trigger pull (also OK). The two toghether are not ok. The glock is long and heavy. BUT, it is feather light till you get to the breakpoint, then it becomes heavy, you know when it will go bang. With the kel-tec its a mystery. If you like DA revolvers you'll get used to it. Me, I don't, and never could. For the money they are a good choice, but you couldn't give me one. It's just a matter of preference,
