Breaking in mag...doesn't seem right to me??

My new Glock magazines are extremely hard to load and I've read that they need to "break in"   This doesn't seem right to me.  I don't buy cheap magazines any more because they do "break in"  As a matter of fact, they keep "breaking in" until they start to give you problems with the weapons.  I'm no guru but I do speak from experience.  I just received new factory mags for my Star Firestar and I can't tell any difference in spring pressure between the brand new ones and ones that have been fully loaded for years.  In my opinion, that's how a quality mag should work and that's why I pay more for them.  What do you guys think

I've seen both, it depends on the metal and temper used on the mags I guess. I saw Taurus mags that needed to be broken in, while the Novak's I use for my 1911 didn't.

Taurus mags always seemed like a bear to load. They still feed as well as my Glocks, S&W and Ruger. I love the adapter for loading the Glock mags.

Never really read or heard about "breaking in" of mags, for the M+P I own or the FN9,

however, that last round is a bi*** to get in,...

The Wilson combat 1911 8rd mags work and load stiff for #8, but no problems.

Every other range session, I do disassemble all mags and clean,lube, inspect,.etc,..

Just never really noticed any difference between the rebate M+P mags ( took 3 months to get ), and the one's the came with it that had a few hundred rds. through them..

Taurus magazines were the only mags that I found difficult. Though I remember having sore thumbs from a day on the range while serving in the Air Force when we switched to the Beretta 92F's.
