AR with open sights more accurate than Mini with scope.

Shot my new build today, the Double Star lower and Del-Ton upper with a very cheap rear sight I bought from Centerfire Systems. I honest to God can shoot it better with open sights than my Mini 14 will shoot with a scope! And at 100 yards. At 50 yards (where I could see much, much better) it was eating the middle out of the target. It just continues to amaze me how much more accurate the AR is than the Mini.  And my Bushmaster with bull barrel will run rings around it, as I have posted before.  Less than 1 inch 5 shot groups at 100 yards, no matter what bullet you put through it. 

I know everyone is tired of the old AR vs. Mini, but I am a new convert. As I mentioned before, I have defended the Mini for years now, and have resisted the dreaded AR, but I have went over to the darkside now, and there is no turning back!

According to MB, that would be going over to the High Tech side. We are no longer making any reference to referring to black rifles, or any appellation denoting darkness. That's why MB's rifle is Dura-Coated yellow I guess . . .

That dosent suprise me, the mini I always thought of as more of a brush gun, a 50 yarder. The ARs are quite good long range shooters, especially 1 built well.
