   Hi to all.
I'm the new guy,and have what might seem to be a silly question.
See I want to build for lack of a better word a tactical 30-30. Not so much for running threw the streets, critters in the back yard and campsite. I saw on TV were they had a rail set up for a flashlight mount. I would like to learn more about that and were to find it. Thank you all for your time and your help.

welcome aboard, I hope you find this site useful. I will warn you as they say on TV - characters are welcome. That means there are no silly questions, but there are a few silly people!  ;D  Don't be afraid to jump in if and when you wish.

You didn't say - are you looking to build on an AR platform, or just modifying  a lever action like a Winchester or Marlin? And do you recall what show you saw the light rail on?

The last gun I made shot elastics and that was when I was 7.  ;D  More power to anybody who retrofits, builds, customizes etc.  I

About as tactical as you can get, although a fwd retractable bipod could work.

Changing a traditional wood stock 30-30, to an "evil black rifle", ......I kinda like it,... 8)

Welcome to DRTV, as previously posted, there are no silly questions. In fact, we kinda like the different/ unusual ones,....

Somewhere in the archives here, there is a member with one that has pics also.

Do you have a 30-30 you want to "tweak"? Marlin? Winchester?

I'm sure other members can get brand specific for you as far as rails, stocks, etc,...

We have a great forum topic about this. And Also here is One Source Tactical Gabe Suarez has some stuff for lever guns and has classes on them. There is alot out there also if you search Google. I tried to find a couple sites for you but this is what I got real quick

Got two of those, its when I start wanting one of those antiquated rust buckets that I know I'm doomed. ;D (And the Wilson does seem interesting....)
