I heard that the ESPN telecast is sponsored by AIG.

I guess Obama got all his hard work done.

Really?

THIS raises outrage?

 ::)

What, exactly and in detail, should the President of the United States within his Constitutionally delimited powers be doing with the, call it an hour (assuming he doesn't actually have a favorite team already), this took?

He is participating in a positive activity shared by millions of the people of this country.  It's the kind of populist thing all Presidents have and will do,

For goodness sake in 99% of the other threads people are bemoaning the fact he is doing too much (all of it bad of course), so when he actually takes a few minutes to do something harmless we're going to jump on him for that?

Take off the old hate blinders and come back to reason.

But Haz, 2012 is only 4 years away.

But I have to agree with CareBear on this one, If he has to do something it's MUCH better if it's meaningless. (Except for the poor team that he curses by picking them )

"Somebody said that we're not in President Obama's Final Four, and as much as I respect what he's doing, really, the economy is something that he should focus on, probably more than the brackets," Krzyzewski told a reporter from the Associated Press on Wednesday.

Great idea Tom...I think he should ignore it from Tehran.
