You have to love a Bond. I've had great luck with mine in .357. How did yours do with the .45LC ?

I only dropped a few rounds through it so the jury is out.  One thing for sure....I'm no Bob Munden.

Who is? Mine's plenty accurate enough, but I'm still trying to get the draw and cock thing working. I will say that dropping the 70 dollars for the extended grip makes a difference. Being able to have 3 fingers on the grip helps with muzzle flip, and the grip has a wood backstrap which I found helps deaden recoil. (It still ain't all that fun with .357 loads though.) The trigger is a bit finicky also. You need to just use the pad of your finger and push down rather than pull back. It makes a huge difference. Likewise make sure your hand isn't in contact with hammer or itincreases the trigger pull. The longer grips help here as well. I like the gun, its just cool, plus it dissapears in your pocket.

My trigger pull seems to be a problem.  Maybe there's some trick to it I haven't found yet, but it's a bear to touch off.  After I get the trigger thing straightened out I'll have to see how it does.

Once you get he pushing down rather than pulling back thing down it gets a lot easier, again watch the web or hand on the backstrap. I'd get a pair of el cheapo .410 snap caps and go from there.

RASTUS- Cool man. A Bren-Ten. WOW. I have always wanted to shoot one. Why are they not as popular as a CZ-75 or (Civilian market ownership)Beretta 92. I figure it should have that sort of fallowing. But for some reason I have never seen on the range or in real life for that matter.

That looks way cool man. And I like the Derringer too. I hope I get to go burn some ammo with you sometime.
Did we win???

Rastus, if you call Bond arms They should have a replacement hammer spring that will help with the trigger pull. Ask them about the "competition" spring for it.

Because they only made about 1500 of them, spare magazines were impossible to get and the company had major problems with finance and production, folded once, came back with new owners and folded again, Fortis will be the 3rd incarnation.

OOPS! I forgot to  mention that  I had one those. :-\ They do lighten the trigger pull by about a pound. Just let them do it for you They didn't even charge me as I was getting some other stuff and had told them I'd write them a testimonial because I liked the gun so much (its only like $6 though). They threw in a free polish job, my used gun looks like it came off the showroom. Very nice folks and they definately want you to be happy. I was impressed that the president of the company was answering the phone the day I called.

Might be because he's the chief, the cook, and the bottle-washer......just kidding.   ;D  ;D  ;D

Sounds like good folks to do business with. This is good and timely info as I have been thinking about a Bond.

You've seen my concerns with it as far as speed. But as far as concealabilty and power (they offer it in 10mm and .44-.40 if youre man enough) its hard to beat. Accuracy after you learn its quirks (took me about a box) is more than minute of bad guy. The construction is what sld me though. The thing is built like a tank and as smooth as glass. It reminds me of a Blackhawk or a Python, no bs, all business, it just seems solid. The people are amazing too, the one bought I saw used on guntoker, I wasnt sure if it was a model that I could add a trigger guard to.Not wanting to have a .357 with no trigger guard riding loose in my front pocket (yes I'm a candy ass) I called Bond to ask, the guy actually went on line and checked for me. This on a used gun. You can't beat that. The fact that I can get a .22 barrel to practice with is also a plus. Not only cheaper, but the .357s are not a lot of fun to shoot in a derringer. Just my .02.
