Ryan, Your ignorance does a disservice to the Oakland Officers who lost their lives to a scumbag who should not have been released on parole for "Assault with a deadly weapon".
Your intellectual dishonesty is disgusting, if you were truly concerned with public safety you would be petitioning to have violent offenders KEPT in prison, instead you wish to further infringe on the rights of law abiding citizens.
You call US extremists, You have the gall to say those who believe in exercising our Constitutionally guaranteed rights are no different than the Taliban ? Excuse me , but in order to exercise my God given (Reference; Preamble to the Declaration of Independence) I had to be personally approved by the FBI to purchase a fire arm, then again for a "concealed carry permit". Perhaps this double vetting process is why there are fewer CCW holders arrested annually than Law Enforcement Officers. (I say that with apologies to the Police Officers who actually SERVE their communities, I know they are the silent disgusted majority).
Exit question: Why do these anti civil liberty blowhards always blame the tool instead of the violent felon wielding the tool ?

In CA, we have a flow chart...  ;D

Actually its really not that hard, the only tricky part is menorising the banned lower list.  which is pretty long.
