Back on track, air softs are cool, and cheap, if you get the chinese and korean stuff, the electric guns are usually 250 fps, the gas guns can go 300-500 fps, but are more expensive, and I mean a lot more expensive 100 - 300 bucks, but could be worth it for training real life scenarios. My suggestion, get some electric carbine versions and 5000 bb's and have at it, you'll love it. Further advice is to get the versions that have the 250 round mag, that you roll a wheel on the bottom of the mag to keep feeding it. they do wear out, but for the money, you get what they are worth and probably more.

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

$10 arrow +$20 broadhead + pulling lizard off said broadhead+cleaning it without cutting yourself and geting infected with salmonella tainted blood. Add to that the real risk of PI if ANYTHING goes wrong and the unstealthy nature of the thing. Believe me, I've thought about it. Its just that for me, it needs to be quick, quiet and with zero chance of collateral damage, hence pellet/bb guns or air soft.

An AirSoft is not going to be lethal...just a rude wake-up call (not enough mass to penetrate). If you want to take them down for good...I would recommend a break-barrel air rifle. I have a Gamo Shadow 1000 that will send a standard .177 pellet (I use Crossman hollow points) at a velocity of 1000 fps. It is quiet and effective. I have taken small game with it (squirrels and rabbits) and it dropped them on the spot.

Paintballs hit harder than some air soft BBs and you can paint the iguanas whatever color you want. That sounds like entertainment to me.  :)  We don't have iguanas around here but a guy told me there were a lot of yellow squirrels around his house after he shot them.
