Marshal, pls excuse the paranoia...but any chance that registered users of DRTV forums have been compromised in any personal data? Email addresses etc?

Not that it happened...but an example of why your data should be "fuzzy".  A number or two off on an address and/or a birthday.  If you live at say, 3445 Fred Street you may want to use 2445 Fred Street, an honest mistake but if you change for each place you enter you can find out where you data got loose.
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

Rastus good point...I generally don't even respond to such requests as addresses etc. If some site is asking for that I am outta there quick. With DRTV they only ask for an email address and password. Not much potential there but still no need for BGs to get hold of that on such a subject specific forum like this. So I hope that some extra level of security was applied.

I'm leaning towards retaliation for the storm we stirred up over the Surplus military brass.

Thanks for all the hard work guys.

All personal data on the server is limited to forum passwords. They are encrypted (one of the reasons we manually cannot send members their password if the forget - it has to be reset). Other personal info given through giveaways are not stored on the server, only locally and submitted through another source.
